Almost every single business that exists today is expected to extend their services or products to their customers on a 30, 60, or 90 day basis. A business will enter into an agreement with the customer that states that the customer does not have to pay for goods or services for 30 days and up. This is extremely common in the business world when businesses are doing business with another business. It is much different in the personal world where most items are due upon receipt. This common method of payment amongst businesses can cause cash flow problems. When businesses start having cash flow problems they may think that the best idea is to turn to a bank for small business loan, but banks will not often fund a business loan in time.
